A very useful hard drive utility for any computer at home or in any company. For many of you this may appear to be be useless, but when your hard drive crashes with all your important information and you cannot recover it anymore, you will realize that this utility was worth installing in order to prevent the disaster.
Once installed, the program will remain always active in you tray bar. It works like a monitor showing you the temperature, health status, performance and logical disk info. The performance check (disk temperature, free space) interval can be set between 1 second and 1440 minutes and 59 seconds. If you think that your hard drive is too loud, you can reduce it’s noise to a quieter status; of course, this will proportionally affect the disk performance.
The utility can monitor several hard drives that can be viewed also from Windows Explorer. The detection system supports malfunction protection and data loss prevention. As a conclusion, according to your hard drive’s status, the program will display a tip in order to help you manage your disk.
Pluses: The warnings can be set to act in case the health, temperature or disk space reach urgent or critical stages. When you set the computer to power off when a warning is sent, there will be a 15 second delay before the action is taken.
The program can be set to send statistics at custom time intervals; reports can be sent via email or via the network. The interface is nice an makes the program very easy to use; three skins are available and the multilanguage support includes 19 languages.
